The first hardware arrives: A beginning for SPINNAX

On 7 May 2022, ideas and a long period of development become something tangible: the first hardware for our skateboarding sensor arrives. Finally holding the components in our hands is a special moment for SPINNAX.

Until then, much of the work had involved designs, technical questions and solutions that still had to prove themselves on a board. The first delivery starts the next stage: assembling, trying things out and discovering how our ideas feel in an actual session.

Behind it is a question that still guides us: how can we bring new perspectives to skateboarding? We want to make board movements visible and create room for playful challenges. Skateboarding itself remains our starting point.

The first hardware is not a finished product. But it makes the next steps tangible. This development leads to the SPINNAX SB1 – and the idea of exploring new possibilities for skateboarding together with the community.
